Big news from Google – now your social media profiles can shine right on your Google Business listing. Ever noticed how when you look up a place on Google, you see their info but not their social media links? Now you can spot their Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube links too.
In August, Google announced this feature was available to selected brands. But now Google has opened up this feature to almost everyone. So, if you own a business, you can easily add your social media links to your Google Business profile. This way, when people search for you, they can directly click through to your social pages.
Just log into your Google Business profile, hit ‘Edit profile,’ then ‘Business information.’ In the ‘Contact’ section, you can pop in your social media links – one for each platform you’re on.
Right now, Google supports:
- TikTok
- X (formerly known as Twitter)
- YouTube
Unfortunately, some platforms like Snapchat didn’t make the cut this time.
This is big news for anyone with a Google My Business profile because it makes it simpler for people to find you and connect with your business online. Plus, it gives your business a more complete online presence.
